#Reverb12: Clean Slate for the New Year

This month I’ve participated in #Reverb12 which is a daily prompt I tried to respond to at least twice a week! Check it out.

Lauren and Jarrett

Prompt for December 31Clean Slate: Tomorrow begins a new year.  What will you do with your new beginning?

I’m very excited for 2013! This year brought so many changes, ups and downs and many new beginnings. Since 2012 was so crazy, I hope 2013 will be a little calmer.

With my new beginning, I hope to be more personal on my social media and I hope to have more fun with it. I feel like I’ve been so serious on my social media sites and I want people to know more about me. I also want to spend a little less time on social media. 2012 was a BIG year on Twitter for me, but I want to calm it down a little bit. I want to actually be *in* my life instead of putting it all over the web.

I also want to strengthen my relationship with Jarrett and with my mother and brother. They’re the only family I have and they’re most important to me.

Since graduating, I also want to maintain my close friendships and make more friends in the Stamford area. I love my friends and they’re the best, but they’re all so far away. I want people in my area too.

Overall, I’m just really looking forward to a new year and a clean slate! No more college, no more classes, just living my life!

  1. Congrats on the move! I just did it myself and it’s challenging yet so fun 🙂 the making new friends in a new city part takes a little while!
