Traditional Marketing vs. Internet Marketing [infographic]

Traditional Media vs. New Marketing
Created by Leadgenix – Internet Marketing SEO

I think this infographic makes some great points. While it may make sense to pay money to get your ad across, always look for other options that have the potential to reach a large audience as well.

Is every ad going to be a Lady Gaga mega-hit ad, but it still could be worth it to make a video, post a status, send an email, etc.

The main point is to think about your money and how you are going to spend it wisely and effectively. Really evaluate your strategy!

  1. Hi Lauren,
Thanks for this great infographic. I’m such a visual learner, and this graphic really breaks down the differences between traditional and internet marketing, and puts it all into perspective. I think internet marketing is a great alternative to the traditional methods, as there are so many options where it can be relatively cheap, or even free. I’ve been doing a PR / Marketing blog myself, and have made a similar post regarding this, but focusing on Twitter. If you’re interested, you can view it here:

I’ve also done a post that focuses on traditional ads, and it has a link leading to many clever traditional ad examples. Feel free to check it out too!
