My TOP Three Stories of the Day

Every day we see a lot of news and a lot of stories. Well these are my top favorite stories that were shared today:

1. New Dunkin’ Donuts & CareerBuilder® Survey Reveals Which Professionals Need Coffee the Most

  • Of course, number 2 is marketing and PR professionals. We drink coffee and inhale caffeine like there is no tomorrow.

2.  Three works I can guarantee you every single American hears every single day: debt, recession, politics. Every single day! So, it may come as a surprise to some of you, especially the Republicans out there, that according to the US Treasury Department, these people caused the debt:

3. This post by Eric Qualman of Socialnomics, about SEO in periodic table format. I suggest taking a look at this social graph to get more insight on what factors work together for SEO and more. This post did not come out today, but it was a great article shared today nonetheless.

  1. I enjoyed reading some of your info here but your national debt graphic is quite disingenuous and for the most part, a complete lie and fabrication. That is the same graphic that Nancy Pelosi produced around May of this year that was laughed at for being so inaccurate. Not only are the Bush numbers factually incorrect (they should be 86%), the Obama percentages are for his first four months only and leave out a years worth of data in the calculation because it would have been so large! Politifact has rated the graphic in it’s entirety “Pants on Fire.” A direct quote from Politifact: “However this error happened, it effectively took one year of rapidly escalating debt out of Obama’s column and put it into Bush’s, significantly skewing the numbers.” This graph compares 4 months of the Obama presidency with 96 months of the Bush presidency plus 12 of Obama’s bad months…lol.

Another thing, Bush served two full terms (8 years) and he spent waaay too much. But by the time Obama’s 1st term is up (only 4 years) it looks like he will have completely matched if not surpassed Bush’s 8 years. I’m not even a Republican but I know for a fact that Obama is nothing more than a George W. Bush v2 on steroids, pro-war and all. Hope that doesn’t shock some of you Democratic loyalists out there.
