Job Hunting via Social Media – Intro

For my social media and blogging class, we picked a topic to blog about for the rest of the semester. I picked job hunting via social media because it’s something I have done and use,

it’s a tool I know hundreds of other people use and it’s something more people want to learn about.

For this series, I will be focusing on using different hashtags, like #HAPPO, #JobHuntChat, #careerchat, #blogchat, #PRstudchat, #u30pro and more, to search for jobs, apply for jobs and connect with people at places of businesses to which they are applying.

I will also be interviewing other students, professionals, etc. as to how they have used social media for job searching and how they have used social media to obtain a job.

Keep on the lookout for new posts every week!
