January 2009 - Named Multimedia Coordinator for Last Minute Productions

August 2009 – Began PR e-marketing internship within the PR department at WCU

August 2009 - Named Leadership and Marketing Coordinator for Last Minute Productions

August 2009 – Created my blog and began blogging

December 2009 – Named WCU PRSSA President

January 2010 – Became account coordinator for the town of  Dillsboro Campaign which is a collaboration between WCU and Dillsboro

March 2010 – Held a successful social media workshop for business owners of the town of Dillsboro

April 2010 – Held very successful ‘Dillsboro on Display‘ event on the WCU campus with 500+ people in attendance

May 2010Created new WCU PRSSA logo

July 2010 – Named Director of PR and Marketing for the WCU Student Government Association

August 2010 – Created new logo for WCU SGA

September 2010 – Joined The Western Carolinian [WCU student newspaper] staff

October 2010 – Joined TV62, the WCU campus student news station

November 2010 – Turned my PR blog into my own website

November 2010 – Created new website/blog for WCU PRSSA

January 2011 – Named Social Media Coordinator for The Western Carolinian

January 2011 - Started internship with Social Fresh

January 2011 – Held Social Media Workshop focusing on Twitter and LinkedIn for our PRSSA Chapter

February 2011 – Attended Social Fresh Tampa conference and ECU PRSSA’s Regional Activity

March 2011 – Attended PRSSA National Assembly in Seattle

March 2011 – Voted to the position of National Vice President of Public Relations for the PRSSA National Committee 2011-2012

March 2011 – Held the very successful Public Safety Fair for my client, CatTracker [the WCU emergency alert system]

June 2011 – Began term as PRSSA National Vice President of Public Relations and attended PRSSA Leadership Rally

July 2011 – Started at Smoky Mountain Country Club as Marketing and Reservations Manager

August 2011 – Started Chapter of the Month for PRSSA National

October 2011 – PRSSA National Conference in Orlando and National Student News Media Convention in Orlando

October 2011 – Named #1 top person on “Future of PR” list

January 2012 – #39 on top Public Relations Experts to Follow on Twitter list

March 2012 - Named on Arik Hanson’s list of 15 up-and-coming PR pros to watch in 2012 list
