How Social Media can be used for Social Change [infographic]

Social media can be used for a lot of things: like daily conversations, getting your message out there or even influencing change and education.

While 3/4 of adults say being involved in social change is personally important to them, the 2012 Social Change Impact Report found that people do not want to help out, even when times are bad.

Have we started to care less as a society?

When times get bad, do people actually do anything?

 

49 years ago today, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech in Washington, D.C.  I really do not think we have people like that anymore who are really willing to be the leader of a revolution and we don’t seem to have people who are really willing to go all out and really fight for something.
